Dashboard Get Started Guide
When your workspace is new or certain setup steps haven't been completed yet, Cadensa shows a "Get started with Cadensa" section at the top of the dashboard. This section contains contextual guide cards that point you to the next most useful action.
How it works
The guide section appears automatically whenever there is something left to set up in your workspace. Each card shows:
- What to do — a short title and description
- An action button — clicking it takes you directly to the right place to complete the step
As you complete actions (create a project, invite a team member, etc.), the corresponding card disappears from the guide. When all steps are done, the entire guide section is hidden.
Guide cards
The following cards can appear, depending on your workspace state:

Cards are shown only when their condition applies. Multiple cards can be visible at the same time.
Dismissing and restoring the guide
If you want to hide the guide section without completing all steps, click the × button in the top-right corner of the section. The guide is hidden and a small "Show getting started guide" link appears in its place.
To restore the guide, click that link. The guide reappears with whichever cards are still relevant.
Dismissing the guide does not delete your data or skip any steps — it simply hides the section from the dashboard. You can bring it back at any time.
When the guide disappears permanently
The guide section hides itself automatically (without any action on your part) as soon as all card conditions are satisfied:
- You have at least one project
- You have at least one task
- You have at least one time entry
- There is more than one workspace member
Once all four conditions are true, the guide no longer appears, even if you previously dismissed it.
